GRIN has long been a go-to platform for ecommerce brands running creator programs at scale: gifting, affiliate links, payments and Shopify integration in one place. It now publishes self-serve plans too, which makes it easier to compare. This guide covers what GRIN does well and what it costs, what smaller teams usually need instead, and five GRIN alternatives, with every price checked on the vendor's own site on October 20, 2026.

What GRIN does well, and what it costs

GRIN is built around running creator programs for online stores: shipping gifts, paying creators, tracking affiliate sales and managing relationships, with a Shopify integration and an escrow wallet for payouts.

According to GRIN's pricing page:

PlanPriceManagement fee on wallet depositsCreator search per month
Free$020%1,200 creators
Starter$200 per month10%12,000 creators
Growth$500 per month7%36,000 creators
Scale$1,500 per month5%120,000 creators

A few details matter for budgeting:

  • Management fees are added on top of wallet deposits, the funds you load to pay creators, and GRIN says they aren't refunded if you withdraw unspent funds.
  • Self-serve plans are month-to-month; Enterprise is an annual agreement.
  • Starter includes a 30-day free trial, then bills automatically unless you switch plans.
  • Paid partnership and affiliate campaigns need at least $250 in the wallet; gifting-only campaigns don't.

What smaller teams need instead

Many small and mid-size teams don't need payments, escrow and affiliate infrastructure on day one. They need to:

  1. Find the right creators quickly, ideally ones who already promote similar products.
  2. Get contact emails without hunting.
  3. Reach out and follow up without a full-time coordinator.
  4. Track conversations and posts in one place.
  5. Pay a predictable monthly price without fees on creator payouts.

If that's you, a discovery and outreach tool may be enough, with payments handled through your existing tools.
